Yin yoga is a quiet practice that allows us the opportunity to stop and listen to the wisdom of our body.  Postures are passively held for three to five minutes enabling the deep connective tissues in and around our joints to open. Yin yoga stimulates the movement of energy along our meridians, revitalizing the organ systems and harmonizing our physical, emotional and mental state of being. Mindfulness
techniques are introduced and inspired readings are woven into the classes.

Tai Chi is an ancient art form that is very beneficial for over all flexibility, strength, and balance, as well, the gentle movements produce a meditative state. Malcolm’s approach to these traditional teachings is playful and classes are relaxed, informal and fun. By bringing a natural rhythm back to the body, one can gently increase range of motion and support a greater flow through joint movement. You will find yourself breathing deeply and naturally, experiencing moments of relaxation with an
awareness of your own body’s structure and its needs.

Energy Healing at Spirit Gate is a gentle form of body/mind/heart/spirit integration practice that is guided by one’s own deep wisdom or soul. Energetic disharmonies can show up as discomfort or disease in the body, frustrating patterns of behavior, emotional overload, blocked energy or creativity, and inaccurate beliefs about oneself, others and the world.

The professional healer senses our internal energy that is out of alignment, and directs the flow of our life force there. At the same time, the recipient is supported to disengage mind chatter, tune into the body’s knowing, let emotions flow through without flooding or resistance, and to allow herself/himself to receive love and healing.

The power of direct energy healing can be applied for self-awareness, illness & chronic pain, relationship dynamics, spiritual growth, resolving the ego, deepening meditation practice.

The practice of mediation is aimed at developing mindfulness and concentration. Mindfulness is the art of enhancing self awareness and staying in the moment, while also cultivating the qualities of the heart; compassion, kindness, joy and empathy. With focused intention meditation practice will improve one's well being; physical, emotional and spiritual. Join us for Heart Centered Meditation classes as we explore;
